Spiritual Life
Saint Christina’s is a Catholic school where prayer and worship guide us in caring for the world and each person in it. We begin by helping each child discover their God-given talents, ensuring that every individual feels valued, appreciated, and loved, regardless of faith or background.
The Sisters are at the heart of our community, bringing wisdom, innovation, and a deep commitment to the development of the School. Their forward-thinking approach and dedication to service continue to inspire our mission.
Faith is lived out through action, and Catholic children in Year 3 are prepared for the Sacraments of Reconciliation and First Communion, both of which take place in the convent chapel adjoining the School. Our commitment to Catholic Social Teaching is reflected in the charitable work and outreach initiatives that run throughout the year, encouraging all children to put their faith into practice.
Prayer and reflection are woven into daily life, from morning and end-of-day prayers to assemblies and whole-school Masses. Each Friday, a different class leads Mass, with parents warmly invited to join. Liturgies throughout the year mark key moments in the Christian calendar, deepening the children’s spiritual journey.
Our wider community is also welcome to attend Sunday Mass, celebrated at 10:00 a.m. in the chapel with the Handmaids of the Sacred Heart of Jesus.
