I was absolutely delighted to give very special recognition to a member of our Year 4 cohort who came third in a national poetry competition in the summer with her poem, ‘Dear Mr Alien’. She has already received her prize from the Society of Heads, however, we like to encourage intellectual curiosity and thus I felt I wanted to recognise the scale of the achievement a little more.
