Destination of Leavers
We are delighted to be able to announce this year's 11+ Leaver Destinations.
Destination of Leavers 2024
We are delighted with another year of outstanding outcomes for our Year 6 pupils. The cohort of 12 children have approached the secondary transition and assessment process with considerable maturity and great character, not only securing a range of incredible offers from schools in and beyond London, but gathering a very respectable number of scholarships and honours on the way. It goes without saying that we are very proud of the children and the staff who have worked so hard to prepare them for the 11+ process.

Previous Years Results and how the Process Works
Saint Christina's pupils make excellent progress during their time within the School and gain places at an impressive range of senior schools.
We know that choosing a senior school can be a challenging process for families. Our expertise in the transfer to senior school means we work closely with parents to prepare the children for this move. The Head and his team have an extensive knowledge of secondary sector both within and beyond London and offer a personalised service that supports parents to find the best-fit school for their child to ensure they are happy, confident and motivated, with the necessary skills to succeed in their senior school, and beyond.
The process starts in Year 4 when our pupils start their journey towards 11+. Our aim is to have them ‘match fit’ by the end of Year 5 so they are ready to enter Year 6 fully focussed on the 11+ process.
We work hard to ensure that our pupils aren’t just ready to sit the exams but are ready psychologically as well. When a child is happy at school, feeling confident and safe, there is nothing to restrict their emotional and intellectual growth. The knowledge of being good at what they do gives them confidence. The fact our pupils have been able to try so many different things during their time at Saint Christina’s means they have much to talk about in their senior school interviews.
Our pupils are successful in gaining places at the most sought-after schools. In recent years our Year 6 girls have been offered 11+ places at:
- Ampleforth
- Channing
- Charterhouse
- City of London School for Girls
- Francis Holland
- Godolphin and Latymer
- Haberdasher’s School for Girls
- Henrietta Barnet
- Latymer Upper
- Mayfield
- Northbridge House School
- North London Collegiate
- Queen’s College
- Queen’s Gate School
- Queenswood
- Queen Elizabeth Girls’ School
- South Hampstead High School
- St Augustine's Priory School
- St James School
- St Mary’s, Ascot
- St Margaret’s School
- St Michael's Grammar School
- St Paul’s Girls
- Wycombe Abbey
We look forward to the time our boys reach Year 6. Up until 2019 when we went fully co-ed, boys leaving at the end of Year 2 went on to prestigious schools and enjoyed outstanding outcomes, so we are confident they will also gain places at equally impressive senior schools as our girls. A number of our girls move on to co-ed senior schools so we already enjoy relationships with schools which are attractive to the parents of our boys.
“A very big thank you for the support, advice and encouragement throughout the emotional and hectic process. Our child did so well and we are extremely proud of her” (Year 6 Parent)
